My PhD thesis entitled "Protocol Level Solutions for the Packet Reordering Problem" focussed on improving the performance of TCP in the case of packet reordering. I was supervised by Dr. Tomasz Radzik from the Algorithm Design Group, King's College London.
I am currently working under Dr. Gorry Fairhurst at the University of Aberdeen on the SATSIX project funded by the European Commission. I lead the research team. My research work focusses on analyzing the performance of the DCCP protocol over DVB-RCS systems and other next generation networks (WLL). My research focusses on analyzing and proposing solutions to improve the performance of triple play services over these networks. I am currently responsible for the simulations part of the project and I plan to move onto emulation work by this year. I am also involved with SATNEX.
I am a member of the IEEE, member of the British Computer Society and a member of the IET.
